Designing
-
All jewellery starts out as a design born in the creative brain of the jewellery designer. The designer then sketches the design and refines it into a pattern. We can also turn your marvelous ideas into Creative Designs, As Jewelry is a treasure that lasts from one generation to another.
Crafting
-
Now we used to cut out the the shape of the piece. A ring, for example, starts out as a small circle cut from a sheet of Sterling silver. The silver is then melted and poured into a mold that was created based on the pattern. After the molten silver has hardened and set in the mold, it turns into desired shape.
Modelling
-
The design and pattern created in Step 1 is used as a guide to carve the mold. The chosen metal is poured into the mold and then removed. In the case of wire wrapping, hammered pieces or non-molded pieces, the craftsman follows the pattern to carefully craft the piece of jewelry.
Finishing
-
Lastly, the newly formed piece of jewellery is given “finishing touches”, including hammering, decorative etching, buffing to the desired finish (matte or shiny), or the addition of goldfill. Then the piece is carefully fitted with a crystal or gemstone. If engraving is desired, it is done at this stage.
